Want to make more progress on your goals? Try time blocking!
We think when we multi task we’re actually getting a lot done but in most cases it slows us down. How often do you get started on one task but then get easily distracted by other things? Especially if you work from home! By the end of the day you question what you even did all day. I know that’s happened to me and I can’t be the only one.
If the progress you’re making on your goals seems like you’re moving at a snail’s pace I suggest this..
- Keep track of how you spend your time
- Start time blocking
A big excuse people use for not being able to achieve their goals is lack of time. When you start monitoring how much time you spend on social media, or watching TV or figuring out, prepping and cooking dinner you’ll see you can swap out some of that time to do the things you say you really want to do – like doing something creative or taking that creative hobby and making it into a business!
Time blocking will help you be intentional and focused about your time and how you spend it. For example if you block out 2 hours to work on your photography skills, only focus on that! No answering your phone, checking emails or reacting to notifications.
This was something I discussed with one of my coaching clients this week which inspired me to design this Daily Schedule Planner.
I was originally only going to give it to members of my Visualize To Materialize program but then decided to make it available to everyone that needed it!
If that’s you then click on the image below to download your copy. Print off as many as you’d like! I’d love for you to use it and let me know if you notice a difference in your goal achieving.
You can do whatever you set your mind to!
