Can you believe we’re at the beginning of a new month already?!?
I was inspired by an account I saw on Instagram doing a recap post so thought I’d try it out
So glad I did because as I was looking at photos I realized how full the month actually was.
We can easily get caught up in the day to day stuff and feel like not much is happening but when you stop to reflect, you’ll realize how far you’ve come!
I highly suggest doing this! If you do, comment below with a link so I can check it out.

Highlights from May…
1 – Celebrating the 5 year milestone of being cancer free! I’ll have a separate full blog post wrapping up that journey! My long time high school friend took me out to dinner to celebrate!

2 – Launched new art – The Tulip Collection – a dozen new designs to choose from!
3 – Brought my daughter home from college – the mess came with her!

4 – Photo shoot with my videographer friend Ari from River Videos So fun to collaborate with friends!

5 – Photographed a gala for Westchester Torah Academy. I unexpectedly ran into people I know – one of them being long time clients that were attending the event. Always nice to see familiar faces at these events!

6 – Had the whole apt painted – we’re still trying to find things that we stashed away!

7 – Whipped out my sketchbook and did some drawing. I love to draw and practice hand lettering. It’s so relaxing.

8 – Lots of hiking! We did more hiking than I remembered!
- Tibbets Park in Yonkers
- Tuckahoe in Westchester
- Beacon, NY
- Appalachian Trail in Warwick, NY

9 – Made churros for Cinco de Mayo. They’re vegan and really easy to make. I thought I bookmarked the recipe but can’t find it. If you google it you’ll find plenty of options.

10 – Mother’s Day!
No approved family pics to show (uh!) but here’s a chocolate apple that my husband got me. Did I mention I don’t like chocolate?!? 🙂

Tell me about the highlights from your month!
