Jessica and I have a long photography history together. It all started with photographing her kids in many of their shows…
To her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah…
and her parent’s cool anniversary party on a boat ride along the Hudson River…
She contacted me a few months ago for new images for her LinkedIn profile as she was building a new consulting biz. She was looking for professional studio style headshots. We were able to easily change up the looks by switching out jackets and adding accessories (her glasses) to give her a variety of looks to choose from.
While she was here I asked if we could go outside for a bit to take a few outdoor shots. I can’t resist natural light! Thankfully she was into it!
Fast forward to now. Jessica contacted me to let me know she decided to run for city council in The Bronx!!! Wow!!! This woman is embodying the “LIFE HAPPENS NOW” motto!!! She has a busy life with 4 kids, (I have a challenge with 2!) and a consulting biz, along with everything else she’s involved in. She’s super passionate about environmental and climate issues and saw that there needed to be a change NOW!
I am SO excited for her!!!
So you know those outdoor shots I asked her to do while we were having that headshot session?!? It was meant to be!!! She was able to use those extra shots to help get the word out. I love how she leveraged those few images to create a consistent social media presence. She even using them on business cards! Woo Hoo!!
