Every Friday when walking my daughter to school, she lists out everything that’s going to make the day a great day.
“Today is going to be a great day because …..”
On that list includes Book Buddies. Each Friday, her 4th grade class goes to a 1st grade class and they read to their assigned Book Buddy. She especially loves this because the teachers were HER and her sister’s first grade teachers. We just love them!
I really love to read and want to make it more of a priority. I prefer to read personal development, money mindset and business related books. I browse through other books for inspiration like cooking, crafts and photography
It’s always fun when you have a friend who’s also reading the same book so you can discuss what you’re learning. I’ll post the book here on the blog so in case you want to be book buddies. I’m not going to have a rigid schedule like each month there will be a new book. I don’t want that added pressure plus I don’t want to have to rush through the book. I like to take my time, highlight key points and do any journaling exercises that are suggested.
I’m currently reading Secrets of Six-Figure Women by Barbara Stanny. I’m halfway through and loving it! It’s about the mindset that it takes to be a high earner.
Let me know if you’ll be joining me! I’ll give you my thoughts and insights in a separate post – want to give you some time to get started!

I love the idea of Book Budies, with out the pressure of a book a month. I tend to buy inspirational books and never finish 😉. Maybe this will inspire me!

Yes! Join me – that would be great! I can’t take that pressure either. 🙂
