This reminds me of the movie Office Space which I’ve watched at least 100 times where a co worker tells Michael “Uh oh looks like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays!”

Is that how you also feel?⠀

Many years ago when I worked at an office as a systems analyst / computer programmer I soooo resonated with this feeling! Waking up on a Monday having to put on pantyhose and a corporate outfit felt like torture. I knew I didn’t want to be stuck behind a computer all day working for someone else, doing the type of work I was doing. ⠀

It wasn’t fulfilling and it just didn’t feel like me. I had to do something creative so I started my first business – a gift basket business! It’s what got me up every morning to go to my job. That, and having great friends that I worked with. I now had a new purpose – my income was fueling my business and I was making plans to exit that job and go full time.⠀

For years now I’ve LOVED Mondays! I think of it as a fresh new start to new opportunities and possibilities because I so enjoy what I do!⠀
I want that for you also! Get over thinking that hating Mondays is normal!⠀Maybe you’re not even having to go into an office anymore and you’re working remotely. At least you don’t need to wear pantyhose! Major plus! But if that still isn’t enough and you feel a creative calling to do something else I suggest you start to journal on it!
Ask yourself… ⠀
- why am I feeling this way?⠀
- what would I rather be doing?⠀
- how can I make my current situation better?⠀
- what good things can I see about my current situation?⠀
- what can I do today to add in elements of what I’d rather be doing?⠀
