I’m continuing on with #mindfulmaking because I’m finding it really relaxing and it acts as a great way to relieve stress. It’s getting to the point where all I want to do is draw all day! ๐
Since we’re in the holiday season I was inspired to draw holiday homes. Each year the girls love to decorate gingerbread houses. We just got the kits this week so we’ll probably be making them this weekend.
I first wanted to do one with whimsical non-traditional colors.

Then I switched up the design a bit because it was too angular and decided on more traditional Christmas colors.

On one of my walks I spotted this home – I really liked the shape of the house so it inspired me to draw….
